Ensure Compliance. Preserve Integrity.

The European Norm EN 16931 introduces mandatory structured e-invoicing across the EU, with phased implementation starting on January 1, 2026, and full compliance expected across all member states by 2028.

Legal practices operating within or billing into affected EU jurisdictions will need to comply with these new standards. Are you preparing for this change?

We are working in partnership with Aevelon, a LegalTech consultancy and product firm with over 20 years of experience—like us—in implementing and supporting Practice and Financial Management Systems. Together, we are developing an Elite 3E enhancement designed to provide a seamless, fully compliant invoicing solution that supports operational efficiency while meeting upcoming EU e-invoicing mandates.

If you'd like to learn more, we’d be happy to hear from you.

David

Hi David - I'm told that as of early 2026, eBH and 3E are in the final stages of a phased rollout to meet the new EU mandatory e-invoicing standards (specifically EN 16931).

The specific technical requirements for the upcoming EU mandates are being addressed through a partnership with EDICOM, for which Elite is developing an Elite 3E Enhancement to handle the structured data formats required by the EU, such as UBL and Factur-X.

Targeted support for major EU jurisdictions (initially France, Germany, and Spain) is expected in early 2026. To ensure that invoices meet the new EU regulatory standards before submission, Elite recently launched an AI-powered tool called Elite Validate, which integrates with eBH to check for compliance.
